We are seeking a Cabinet Carpenter/Installer to join our shop. Candidates must have the ability to finish a wide variety of tasks including building from build sheets and from scratch, while demonstrating time management skills.
We are hoping to find highly skilled and experienced craftsman. We build high end custom cabinetry for commercial and residential jobs. Our employees need to excel in multi-tasking and must have a strong ability and desire to learn new skills, follow instructions, take initiative and lead by example.
Primary responsibilities:
Work in custom cabinet shop producing high end cabinets
Using/installing/adjusting all types of cabinet hardware
Ability to use all types of wood working machinery from hand held power tools to fixed floor mounted machinery
Ability to read shop drawings
Ability to measure accurately
Assist with load and unloading cabinets from trucks
Maintain tools and work areas clean
Work with laminates, woods, and metals
Install cabinets, counters and molding
Complete all tasks in a professional timely manner
Attention to detail a must
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years experience in cabinet making and or finish carpentry. Willing to train depending on individual and eagerness to learn.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Team player and self-starter
Experience with hand tools
Valid drivers license
Experience in high end furniture or cabinet making
Ability to read drawings and measure accurately
Commitment to safety guidelines and policies
Candidates will also be required to pass a drug test
