Another great Direct Hire Opportunity brought to you by Employers Overload! Currently seeking qualified Maintenance Technicians to provide support to our local food production company.
General expectations include:
Perform preventative maintenance
Pneumatic and electrical systems.
Make timely and effective repairs on trouble calls to minimize down time
Perform effective repairs to equipment as directed by work orders, supervisor and manager.
Work effectively with a team to accomplish goals
Perform Preventative Maintenance as directed by work orders, supervisor and manager.
Ensure Safety Compliance.
Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
Help maintain a positive and safe work environment.
Order repair parts and materials from equipment manuals and catalogs.
Execute projects assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Document work on work orders and check sheets and directed.
Maintain work areas and tools to ensure safety and efficiency.
Collaboratively perform other duties as needed and directed to support the goals of the company.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience in environment
Excellent communication skills are required
Must have demonstrated mechanical skills including gear boxes, bearings, chains, basic electrical and basis machining
Experience with case erectors, dairy industry, mixers, freezers preferred
Experience with Ammonia safety and basic operations preferred
Ability to trouble-shoot, and to meet short- and long-term deadlines
Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining work areas in a sanitary manner
