Employers Overload is currently looking to hire a Training Coordinator for a local company! This is a Direct Hire Opportunity! The Training Coordinator provides administrative support in the creation, facilitation and tracking of all training related activities to ensure compliance, understanding and excellence in areas of food safety, people safety, job performance and more.

Initial projects will include heavy data entry and training creation, learning the Alchemy learning system and updating tracking and reporting methods. Additional responsibilities will include training leaders how to use the materials provided, facilitating training in the classroom and on the floor, providing feedback on improvement opportunities within training.

Creates or update standard operating procedures (SOP), job tasks, checklists, and other materials and transfers them into an Alchemy format for use in class room or on the floor training

Develops and maintains accurate and organized employee training documentation, electronically and hard copy; prepares reports and analysis of employee training status for use internally and externally

Partners with subject experts to translate their knowledge and needs into effective training including the use of Alchemy, huddle guides, SOPs, games, etc; subject matter may include food safety, audit and FSMA compliance, safety, leadership, and job specific training

Helps to ensure that training materials meet company, regulatory and certification standards and provides a consistent message to all who need it

Completes audits on tasks as they are completed to validate training effectiveness and employee understanding; tracks results and communicates need for retraining

Organizes and develops training manuals, reference tools, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials

Coordinates monthly training sessions, group or individual/kiosk make-up training and other training as needed; establishes schedules, communicates with leaders and plant staff, prepares training rooms and materials

Helps to ensure that employees attend required training by monitoring learning plans, completion reports, recertification requirements, etc.

Becomes an expert in the Alchemy learning program; creates and customizes training within the system, manages learning plans, employee lists and reports, and helps the company in improving the overall usage and effectiveness of this resource

Supports the use of outside training resources, by researching options, coordinating schedules and assisting with logistics

Provides back up support to the Office Manager, assisting at the front desk or with other administrative or site activities

Participates in a safe, food safe/quality and respectful work environment, by following company policies, processes and SOPs and proactively communicating concerns or ideas

Collaboratively performs other duties as needed and directed to support company goals

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree/coursework in food science, human resources, business or related field preferred; at least one year experience in training, administrative/data entry or overall equivalent

Food manufacturing experience with working knowledge of policies and processes related to GMPs/food safety and people safety; or similar equivalent

Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel; overall computer system savviness; Alchemy Learning system experience preferred

Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities and strong attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively at all levels and with all customers, internally and externally

Bilingual with Spanish proficiency is a plus

Ability to perform required tasks safely, in a fast paced work environment; ensuring food safety, quality and efficiency standards are achieved

Demonstrated ability to self-manage, take initiative and be results oriented

Ability to work flexible hours, including late nights and/or weekends as needed
