We are seeking compassionate, dedicated and dependable individuals who will provide exceptional resident-centered care for our seniors.The Receptionist position is responsible for greeting all visitors and answering all telephone calls to the facility in a courteous and timely manner. This position provides basic clerical support and communicates necessary information to residents and staff. As with all positions, the Receptionist is responsible for demonstrating and upholding PRS?s core values of excellence, innovation, integrity, stewardship, compassion, and collaboration in fulfilling all job duties.Answer multi-line phone, forward all calls to residents and staff, take messages and give out basic information.Greet all visitors to Cascade Manor with a warm and friendly smile. Ascertain the purpose of their visit, announce their arrival appropriately and direct them to the proper location. Have guests/vendors sign in and out in the front desk log.Prepare Confidential Morning Report from information. Distribute to all department heads (by e-mail) and keep one copy at the front desk. Sorts and distribute mail and packages, including forwarding mail for past residents and various departments.Sends out postal packages, including weighing them and stamping them for mailing.Contacts Housekeeping Department immediately upon check out of guest room and marketing suite via radio and housekeeping hotline.Accepts that unforeseen circumstances may require flexibility, composure, independent thinking and good judgement.Acts as the main point of contact for communication during emergency drills and in the event of an actual emergency.Coordinates reservation of public areas, guest rooms and rollaway beds.Distributes newspapers at start of shift to HCC, Library, 29th Place and Main Lobby.And other additional duties as assigned.Be flexible for weekday coverage as needed. Work hours shall remain flexible to meet the needs of the facility, its staff, operations and community/industrial involvement.Requires experience answering multi-line phone systems and good telephone etiquette.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Publisher.Requires excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
