Immediate opening for an unarmed security officer, preferably with current DPSST certification, but not required. Weekdays, 20-30+ hours. Competitive pay with a pay increase after 90 days.
We’re looking for a motivated team member who is able to:
- Walk designated routes multiple times a day
- Build relationships with community members, business owners and property owners within the district
- Respond to calls and self-initiate contacts
- Conduct themselves with professional integrity
- Prioritize de-escalation when resolving issues
- Coordinate with EPD and other first responders; using best judgment on when to contact those resources
- Track activity for reporting purposes
Job training is provided.
