Smartcraft Artisan Builders is a Eugene-based business with a focus on custom carpentry, new home construction and general contracting. Currently seeking to hire a journeyman, as well as an apprentice, for part time work in the Fall/Winter season, ideally long term, working towards a full-time position in the warmer season.
Apprentice Requirements:
-Entry level position, some experience required
-Available on weekdays
-Self-motivated, reliable, able to be left on a job site alone after training
-Proper work attire and ability to conduct oneself in a mature and professional manner
-Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Journeyman Requirements:
-At least 5 years of experience in the field, including framing, siding, installing doors and windows, interior trim, deck builds
-Owns tool belt, hand tools, bags
-Professional presentation and ability to conduct oneself in a mature, friendly and professional manner with clients and contractors
-Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
-Weekday availability
