As a member of the Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in a timely manner, at budget, and to our clients satisfaction. This involves working closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure delivery.Create and manage an overall project plan (including budget, structure, schedule, and staffing needs) for one or more Oracle engagements. Monitor and report progress/changes against the plan. Drive implementation by providing motivation and direction.Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Associate Project Managers participate in an initial three-month enablement program focused on building product knowledge and Oracle NetSuite’s standard methodology through training and development.The Associate Project Manager will learn first-hand how NetSuite impacts our customers’ businesses by working alongside Oracle NetSuite Professional Services Project Managers on projects; thereby gaining valuable project experience across multiple business environments. He/She is required to utilize Oracle NetSuite’s standard methodology to coordinate multiple, concurrent projects for the Professional Services Practice Management team.Responsibilities:Plan, manage and communicate the progress of each active project, including special internal projects, utilizing a mix of global resources within a matrix environment

Closely collaborate with Professional Services management, Project Management Office (PMO), Project Managers, services resources, and supporting organizations such as Finance, Education Services, Sales, and the Human Resources Group.

Prepare and generate weekly project reports, including reports that can be used for resource staffing

Create, manage and keep up-to-date various matrix and other types of system reports

Work with Project Managers to set up work-breakdown structure on new projects

Maintain Resource Commitments worksheet

Draft change orders and SOW extensions, checkpoint decks, Requirements Traceability Matrix

Keep all job record fields updated on a weekly basis and populate compliance assessment fields

Gather information from team members and document project artifacts based on their input

Help manage project risks and issues, and keep track of action items

Assist in managing the project schedule, updating the project plan based on hours used/remaining

Maintain and track project budget, perform weekly assessment ensuring budget is tracking to forecast

Perform general coordination activities with project resources and workstream owners

Preferred Qualifications include:Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Management Information Systems

2 years in application systems consulting preferred

2 years in project management coordination

Mastery of Microsoft Office Products

Understanding of common industry standard business practices, such as ERP, SFA/CRM, or Ecommerce

CAPM (or PMP / Prince2 in progress) type Certification desired

Good communications skills (written and verbal), quick learner, and have a positive attitude

Collaborative work style and respect for different cultures and styles

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively across a number of projects

Ability to effectively work with virtual teams in a matrixed organization

Travel:Modest to moderate, as appropriate
