Overview: The Level 3 Support Tech will be working in a corporate environment located onsite with one of our largest and most well-known customers. This position is in the Negotiated Business Solutions group handling requests for support of software / hardware that are not supported by the regular IT support group.Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Putting OS on client laptops / desktops / tablets, configuration of laptops / desktops / tablets and client data migration
- Advanced break-fix support of software / hardware issues for clients
- Managing and updating tickets via the client's ticketing database
- Flexibility changing directions within an hour, sometimes less
- Traveling between buildings using a personal vehicle
- Training and backfilling for partner IT groups, including Data Center Housing, IT Service Centers and Audio-Visual departments
- 3-5 years technical experience desired
- A+ certification required within 90 days of start date
- Windows / Linux imaging
- Advanced Windows OS troubleshooting
- Advanced server imaging with limited troubleshooting
- Advanced Linux OS troubleshooting
- Basic printer support and troubleshooting
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. solo
- May be required to walk / sit / stand / crawl / kneel for extended periods
- Must have excellent customer service skills and excellent written / verbal communication skills
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word primarily) and Windows 7, 8, and 10
