Project Manager

Actalent is looking to place a Project Manager with semiconductor experience to work hybrid in Hillsboro, OR. If you have enjoy working with an owners rep and have semiconductor experience this may be the role for you!Description:2-3 days on site in Hillsboro

Managing large scale renovation and representing the Owner/Client working with the General Contractor

Needs to be experienced and knowledgeable in construction (strongly prefer Hi Tech).

Be comfortable with PM IT software ProCore, Project, Excel

Responsibilities: Review general scope of work from work requestor – Confirm correct cost center/capital or expense Review GC (general contractor) scope of work submitted to work requestor, confirm if added scope is required before walk Walk scope of work with work requestor, GC, trades, design/establish path forward (confirm if exploratory, or design, mitigation is required) Check SLA’s (Service Level Agreement durations) to ensure they are being met Receive and review GC lump sum proposals/invoices with work requestor for approval Review all change orders for approval and funding – meet with work requestor/GC as needed for validation Walk projects during construction for status update and safety compliance (reviewing PTP’s general EHS) Review GC Primavera schedule and update work requestor and confirm dates are being met (SLAs) Confirm owner acceptance and close project upon completionSkills:construction, project control, Project management, Construction management, cost engineering, finance, accounting, Commercial constructionTop Skills Details:construction,project control,Project management,Construction managementAdditional Skills & Qualifications: Desired qualities: o Working knowledge of Construction Project Controls, Cost Engineering, Finance, Accounting & Business Analysiso Independently and proactively analyzes financial information and develops solutions to complex problems.o Ensures compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies and the integrity of external and internal reporting.o Plans and schedules own work to ensure the timely completion of interrelated to independent tasks and projects with limited direction.Possible Additional Benefits:The Company, owners rep firm, supports Semiconductor Construction, Municipality and PrivateThe Company is proud to have been voted Top 100 Companies in Oregon for the last several years running.This is a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience and knowledge of IPD/lean construction methodology and toolsSalaried position, will get PTO (vacation, 8 holidays, sick) in contract duration.
