Job Title: Software Developer Location: Hillsboro, OR Duration: 3+ Months contract (Plans to extend contract) 100% remote role Sponsor is looking for candidates with knowledge of file formats such as XML and JSON in addition to Linux system development. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related field Minimum Qualifications 5+ years' experience in the following areas is required: Programming skills in Python C/C, Software debug and can create new code and review and debug within a complex, large existing codebase. Knowledge of file formats such as XML and JSON is also preferred Development and methodology skills commensurate with architecting and designing Software whose breadth spans from low-level hardware interfacing with application development. Multithreaded/Multiprocess software development and debug, in server platforms, and distributed environments. Experience in validation or enabling silicon to debug capabilities with expertise in pre-silicon and post-silicon verification/validation processes and challenges. Experience in PC and server systems architecture (IA) at the board and systems level. Experience working with system memory architecture and memory architecture implementation and debug. Experience developing Linux system-level Software and experience working with the internals of a Linux kernel and different commercial Linux distributions. Preferred Qualifications Experience utilizing design patterns, object-oriented programming (OOP), development source control (DSC), service-oriented architecture (SOA), and overall software design methodologies.
