Technician will be responsible for managing platforms and networks to support Client DCG group in Hillsboro, Or JF5-3lab South, for various programs. Platforms supported will be remotely accessed by end users and WW Client teams. Tasks required for this service will be:• install Server including CPU, memory, storage and any required platform hardware accelerators• Network setup including switch configuration if required• Install limited # of operating systems including Linux, Windows and VMware• Install BIOS and FW upgrades on Client Servers• Provide hardware and network troubleshooting support on-site
This supports requires a Technician with the desired skillset, working 8-5, weekdays.• Server hardware installation experience• Linux experience• Network setups experience• Automation – e.g. BASH and Ansible scriptingMinimum Educational Experience: AS degree + 10 years of experience or BS + 6 years experience.Vacancy expired!
