Kelly Services is currently seeking a TME Technician for one of our top clients in Hillsboro, OR. Open ended contract that includes full benefits and paid time off.
Job Duties: Evaluating DDBC product platforms plus providing internal/external customer support. TME technician, primary duties are evaluating platforms such as notebook, Ultrabook™, tablet, AIO, desktop, workstation, server, rack, and special project in producing test procedures; providing training and technical support to other testers; generating simple test scripts; assisting in production testing when required; setting up test fixture; assisting in lab cleanup; configuring new system for other testers; auditing platforms (QA\QC) and providing customer support for Build Center products. TME Tech will also be responsible for developing processes, such as; Build Instructions and Test Instructions and other duties as required. Requires: Excellent organizational skills Detail Oriented Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Hands on experience in building systems from scratch, a must QUALIFICATIONS System Integration knowledge: Intel IA32/IA64 system configuration and its components Microsoft and Linux OS configuration and installations DOS/WinPE firmware tools, and BIOS configuration tools Imaging tools such as Symantec Ghost Scripting and batch file creation Network : Basic knowledge network fundamentals Ability to setup Wi-Fi access point Ability to connect system into network configuration or a domain Ability to enable or disable network access Data backup: Knowledge of data backup principles and security: Infrastructure: Ability to recycle out old hardware and replace with new hardware into the existing infrastructure Ability to upgrade existing OS or software with new patches Ability to learn new software tools and assist DDC engineers in doing analysis or gathering data EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS /EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THIS POSITION: BS/AA degree in CE, EE, CET, EET or proven years of experiences. A+ or other Certification is desirable Must have good knowledge of PC IA architecture, PC system hardware peripherals, OS software installation/configuration/driver update, network fundamental and configuration, and at least 2 years of work experience in combination of testing desktop, server, notebook computer systems, and configuring network equipment such as router hub/switch.
