ArcSine Engineering is a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering firm serving southern Oregon and northern California. We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the full time position of Plumbing and Mechanical Design Technician in our Medford, Oregon office. The technician will work directly with the engineering team to develop plans and specifications for the construction of plumbing and HVAC systems.
Primary responsibilities:
Design plumbing systems using AutoCAD and Revit.
Develop riser diagrams and size piping in accordance with plumbing code.
Perform HVAC design tasks as directed by the engineers
Coordinate with other sub consultants and disciplines.
Select plumbing fixtures and develop details for installation.
Review and edit project specifications.
Perform detailed checking tasks.
A strong candidate will possess one or more of the following qualifications and characteristics:
Associates Degree in drafting or engineering technologies as a minimum. Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical engineering is preferred.
2+ years of experience in plumbing or HVAC installation or design.
Proficient with designing plumbing/piping systems in AutoCAD and Revit
Additional qualifications required:
Strong organization and time management skills.
Professional verbal and written communication.
Motivated and willing to learn and adapt to new opportunities.
Proficient with Excel and Word.

Wages: Wages are a function of qualifications.
Job Type: Full-time, occasional overtime may be necessary, but it certainly will not be the norm.
