Wellness Compounding Pharmacy currently has an opening for a long-term full-time pharmacy customer service clerk. Position is M-F 9:15am-5:45pm with a 30 minute lunch, and with an occasional Saturday 9am-2pm. We are an accredited independent specialty pharmacy with a great atmosphere and pride ourselves on great customer service the old fashioned way.
We are looking for someone with a professional, friendly attitude and strong teamwork and multitasking skills. This is a key position that works with other clerks to work closely with our pharmacists and technicians to take care of our patients.
This position answers inbound calls, writes up refill requests, runs the cash register, organizes and triages workflow and pickup times and other typical pharmacy clerk duties including organizing, filing, shipping, cleaning, and doing what's necessary to ensure the pharmacy is running smoothly.
Pharmacy experience preferred. Prior retail experience a minimum. Will train if we find the right person, but pharmacy and/or retail experience preferred. Competitive pay is dependent on pharmacy and retail experience. We have an IRA-based retirement program where we match up to 3% contribution to the plan (after waiting period), and also 2-weeks paid time off (PTO) per year earned over time after waiting period. We are now offering health insurance benefit to our employees. Occasional opportunity for overtime. Initial and ongoing drug screen required.
