Teacher for After-school Program (Ashland)

Creative Connections, a unique after-school enrichment program, has an opening for a Head Teacher beginning March 1, 2019 through end of school year (with possible continuation next school year). This is part-time position averaging 20 hours a week. The program serves primarily Ashland elementary schools and operates from end of classes to 5:30 pm. Position requires experience in supervising elementary age children, preparing lessons and activities, and maintaining safe and healthy classroom management. Candidate must meet minimum requirements for state certification, including college-level coursework in education or related fields and/or classroom teaching experience. A background check that includes fingerprinting is required before hiring. First aid and CPR certification also required but may be completed within 90 days after starting employment.
