Ashland Family Practice is looking for a front desk clerk to join our team. We have been serving Rogue Valley residents for more than four decades. Ashland Family Practice believes in personalized healthcare that integrates evidenced based western medicine with complementary and alternative therapies in accordance with each patient's needs and preferences. This philosophy combined with our small, independent practice allows us to spend the time ensuring each patient has the information they need to make the best decisions for their health. We are hoping to add a friendly, hardworking front desk staff member to our crew.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: including but not limited to the following;

Scanning in patient charts

Creating patient facesheet in EHR

Sending Medical Records

Faxing provider orders and prescriptions

Appointment Confirmation calls

Answering multiple phone lines

Texting patients

Screen and direct calls

Scheduling appointments

Collecting co-pays

Checking patients in and out

Pulling patient charts

Assisting in chart prep

Education and/or Experience

Associates Degree or equivalent is preferred; one or more year's related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; Experience or education in a medical office preferred but not required

This position is Monday “ Friday from 8:00 AM “ 5:00 PM

Hourly pay $13.00 - $16.00 Depends on experience

Experience:

Customer Service: 1 year (Required)

Medical Office: 1 year (Preferred)

Education: Associate (Preferred)
