We are looking for a team member with a minimum of one year billing and coding experience to join the team of this medical specialty office in Medford. This is a full time position Monday-Friday 8 to 5 or 5:30 and the pay is DOE. Primary duties include: ensure all claims are submitted with no errors, complete claims and check for accuracy prior to submission, excellent with all follow up, meet deadlines, make arrangements for medical records requests, respond to inquires from insurance companies, patients, and providers, audit medical records for billing documentation, review CPT ICD9 codes and ICD10 coding, auditing of medical record, billing, consistently follow up on unpaid claims utilizing monthly aging reports, filing appeals when appropriate to obtain maximum reimbursement and establish strong relationships with providers, clients, and fellow staff. Must have medical terminology, CPT, ICD10 coding, excellent customer service, detailed, experience in filing claim appeals, able to handle multiple tasks with constant interruptions, able to work independently and with others.
