If you have answered yes to these questions, we have an immediate opening for a Nutritionist / Licensed Dietitian and we would like to meet you.

We are looking for a dynamic, compassionate, experienced nutritionist/dietitian to join our Federally Qualified Health Center in the Rogue Valley (Medford, Oregon). The mission of all FQHCs is to provide excellent health care services to otherwise under-served populations. Comprehensive, integrated care is the cornerstone of our patient-centered medical home. Our team approach incorporates primary care medicine, integrative and functional medicine, behavioral health, community health, and dental services. Our Integrative Health Center is growing and our successful candidate will become an important part of this clinic, as well as serving the nutritional care needs of our primary health care centers.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is committed to serving our patient population, and has the ability to adjust their nutrition counseling methods and style to facilitate patient empowerment and self-care. An understanding of the impact of social determinants in nutrition and health choices is especially important. This person should be able to effectively develop and present nutrition concepts in a group setting, and function as an integral part of our empowerment model group medical visits. Empathy, listening skills, and a strong desire to see people succeed are essential.

Our team is looking for someone who has a depth of experience providing nutrition counseling to patients and mitigating nutritional health risk factors. You must be ready to collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, nurses, community health workers, and dental professionals in order to tailor nutrition services and improve patient outcomes. In addition, you should be ready to work with community resources for the purpose of providing optimal nutrition education and counseling services to our patients. The ability to adjust to different clinic settings and travel short distances to provide services within a specific clinic is important. You should also actively keep up with the latest nutritional research, integrating new findings into diet plans and nutritional services.
