A well-established, antenna manufacturing company located in White City Oregon is seeking a Mechanical assembler.
. Mechanical assembler is responsible for mechanical assembly as outlined in work instructions and product drawings.
Job Responsibilities:
· Read and follow bill of materials, work Instructions, and other related documentation necessary for the build of product.
· Assemble products to the work instruction using provided tools.
· Use of standard hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, screw drivers and pliers.
· Use of power tools such as drills, drill press, cordless pneumatic drivers, and belt sanders.
Qualifications/Skills:
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
· Excellent mechanical dexterity
· Ability to work in a shop environment, stand or sit for 8 hours a day and periodically lift items weighing up to 40 pounds within the work areas.
· Solid written and verbal communication skills
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent
1-year experience in general mechanical experience in shop environment (preferred but not required)
Working knowledge of safety protocols
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday
Day Shift 7:00 AM start time
May require occasional overtime
