Oregon Cannabis Wholesaler is a Licensed Distributor in Southern Oregon for recreational cannabis products. Our Southern Oregon location provides OCW a unique competitive edge. We offer a well-rounded portfolio of products that fulfills different needs of dispensaries and their customers (low, mid and high end) as well as providing professionalism and excellent customer service to our clients. OCW keeps a keen eye on the ever-changing political climate, marketplace, new trends, new products, innovation, and technology and can adapt accordingly in order to stay current and ahead of the curve. Through excellent and thorough sourcing practices and existing industry relationships, OCW negotiates fair percentages with the brands that we are distributing in order to create sweet spot pricing that is competitive.

We are growing fast and looking for an experienced sales rep to join our team. Our Sales Representatives serve as our primary liaison to our retail clients and play an instrumental role in promoting our vendor brands and representing OCW professionally and competently at all times. As a sales rep, you are expected to not only make sales but to also build and promote long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships by partnering with dispensaries and understanding their needs. Your days will be spent cold calling, visiting new and existing clients, demoing our products, and recording your interactions in Leaflink. Ideal candidates are detail oriented, dependable, trustworthy, driven and ambitious self-starters.

Job Description

Responsible for generating leads and opportunities through professional contacts, dedicated prospecting, and cold calling.

Set up meetings with dispensary purchasing managers via cold-calling, email, and social media outreach.

Use a customer-focused, consultative sales process to educate prospects on what products will best fit their needs.

Follow-up with prospective accounts via phone, email and SMS to stay top of mind and close new business.

Respond to phone and email inquiries in a timely, efficient and professional manner.

Reach out to clients on an as-needed basis to inform them about new products, special delivery schedules, and other important updates.

Participate in on-site customer appreciation days, budtender education events, hosted company parties, networking mixers, and other events on a regular basis.

Maintain expert-level knowledge on our full product catalog as well as the latest trends in the cannabis industry.

Relay feedback from customers to the account management, marketing, product and operations teams on a regular basis.

Maintain customer databases and ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate.

Responsible for entering orders properly in Leaflink, confirming with clients to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to delivery.

Responsible for deliveries to your accounts.

Skills and Requirements:

Must be over the age of 21.

Valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit (or application in "Ready to Pay" statusĀ). OLCC permit is required before any placement can occur.

Have a valid drivers license and dependable transportation.

Minimum one-year prior experience with sales or account management required.

Proven track record of developing a strategic sales strategy, building new business, and meeting/exceeding quotas.

Excellent attention to detail (this role will require important data entry so accuracy is critical).

Exceptional communication and customer service skills, including a patient attitude, a friendly disposition, and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers.

Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Have a strong work ethic and be dependable.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Expected to follow strict operational guidelines and security policies. Required to follow all state regulations.

Able to pass a background check.

This is a Base + Commission outside sales position with no cap on commissions. OCW provides a company vehicle to use for deliveries, covers gas and offers a per diem for Hotel and food for any overnight travel (if applicable per territory).
