Oregon Cannabis Wholesaler is a new Distributor in Southern Oregon for recreational cannabis products. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for all delivery / pick up needs and will present themselves in a professional and timely manner on an as-needed-basis. ¨¨
Job Description:
Deliver sales orders to designated locations.
Pick up and deliver product from vendors to wholesale facility.
Collect and verify orders for delivery
Ensure inventory loads match delivery manifest
Ensure address on package matches up to delivery address
Load merchandise into vehicle
Review deliveries with vendors and accounts to ensure products are correct
Receive payments
Deliver payments
Update warehouse team of orders delivered
Follow traffic signs, street signs and delivery navigation application guidance to get to destinations
Monitor traffic conditions to avoid delays
Read and interpret maps and GPS directions
Maintain ongoing communication with wholesaler
Inspect and maintain vehicle daily, checking tires, brakes, and lights and adding fluids and gasoline as needed
Return payments and any rejected orders at the end of each day to the warehouse
We Require:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit (or application in "Ready to Pay" status). OLCC permit is required before any placement can occur.
Have a valid drivers license
2 years of delivery driver experience preferred
2 years of customer service experience
Must have an open/flexible schedule
Cannabis knowledge is preferred
Exceptional communication and customer service skills, including a patient attitude and a friendly disposition.
Have a strong work ethic, be trustworthy and dependable.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Expected to follow strict operational guidelines and security policies. Required to follow all state regulations.
Able to pass a background check.
This is a part-time hourly position starting @ $15/hour, with the potential to grow into a full-time position. OCW will provide a company vehicle and gas allowance to use during pickups/deliveries.
