ROLE: Lynden Door Trucking, LLC is growing and looking for a full time, or part-time / relief driver based out of Medford, OR. Applicants must be physically fit enough to assist off-loading and tailgating product to the rear of the trailer with a pallet jack at times. Experience with quad axle dry van trailers, heavy hauling and bridge law knowledge is a plus. We haul between 60% and 70% of our own wood door related freight. Equipment consists of Peterbilt and Volvo tractors.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Class A drivers must be able to provide a good driving abstractÂ
OTR or mountain driving experience is a plus
Drivers must understand all DOT driving laws and regulations
Job offers are based on passing a DOT drug and alcohol test as required by law
Must have good customer service skills and the ability to represent our companies well

MORE ABOUT THEÂROLE:
The majority of the job would consist of running between WA and ORÂto various points loading and delivering as needed.
Some of the lanes require overnight trips on the road per DOT requirements regarding hours of service.
We do have some flexibility if you're only available for part time weekend work.
The weekly hours could be in the range of 40-55 hours a week if full time, or 13-18 hours as a part time weekend driver.
There also could be opportunities on the odd days through the week filling in for a full time company driver when they are sick or on vacation. A semi-retired former Class A driver could be an ideal candidate. Someone that already works a 40 hour a week somewhere else and could work one or two days for us is a possible fit or someone even looking for full time.

Regular overtime is common and is paid for all hours worked in a week past 40
