Position Available - Entry-level Compliance Assistant (Near Bandon, OR)

Oregon, Oregon coast 00000 Oregon coast USA

Vacancy expired!

CSA (Compliance Service of America) is a consulting firm specializing in alcohol regulatory compliance. We are looking for an entry-level compliance assistant to join our team. Maybe youre the one, or you know someone who fits our needs.

The position involves basic office tasks: using a computer, communicating with the team, preparing forms, keeping good records, proofreading etc. as well as learning and following protocols, tracking your time, doing whatever is needed, and staying organized. Embracing this level of work is a foundation to build on. Becoming a compliance specialist takes time, and we are looking for someone ready to commit to a long-term position.

If you dont understand what alcohol compliance is, thats not a problem! We expect to train any new member of our team. Flexibility, being eager to learn, and wanting to become part of a team is most important. We are a team of eleven people and most of us learned about alcohol compliance here, on the job. If youre not intimidated by government regulations, and have an interest in learning new things, you may be the right fit.

Do you enjoy working closely with others in a friendly, energetic environment? Our work style is unusually cooperative; we pass work around and support each others accomplishments all day long.

Do you take pride in making sure all the is are dotted and the ts are crossed? Some people may be irritated by that, but we appreciate it. Our work requires precision! The work we do is technical and very detail-oriented. Mistakes cost lots of time to fix, so we check, double-check, proofread, and check again. We follow up often, knowing that were not bothering people but helping the process along.

Do you feel comfortable with computers and have a knack for learning software? If so, its a serious plus! A strength we are looking for is a certain amount of ease with technology, ability to learn applications and run them. We depend on databases that need to be updated and maintained, and programs that organize our work.

Do you like problem solving and working with others to meet a deadline or achieve a goal? We take our clients dreams seriously, and each do our part to make them come true.

Were here to make alcohol compliance understandable to our clients because their businesses depend on knowing the requirements. We prepare and file license applications and renewals, explain the laws and regulations, and help our clients make informed decisions and plans. We enjoy connecting humanly with both our clients and regulators, and we care about the success of our clients. It does take expertise to do it well, but expertise is gained with time, dedication and willingness to learn.

If you already have experience in a technical field that requires managing lots of data, staying organized, and communicating with the people you work with (like the fields of insurance, medicine, accounting, law, and others), youll be pleased to use your skills in our lively and human setting.

Our office is in a peaceful rural environment. We are located in Coos County Oregon, 20 minutes from Bandon and Coquille, and 40 minutes from Coos Bay. The rural setting is an asset, but it also means a commute. In order to work here, you must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license.

Of course you need to know about pay. The beginning salary will be $2,500/month. What youll also get is an opportunity to work in an environment where people count, your work is appreciated, and your co-workers care about your input and how you feel. We offer health insurance after a 90 day trial period. And the cherry on top is: We have really great coffee!

To put your hat in the ring, send an e-mail to Dyana Nedra via email to this ad posting, along with your resume and a letter about how you relate to this opportunity. We will be interviewing in February, 2020, expecting to start work in March.
