About the Program

Cedar Bay is a 5-bed, licensed, residential treatment home located in Coos County in the city of North Bend, Oregon. This program serves 5 adults discharged from the Oregon State Hospital. Residential care and treatment are provided to enable the residents to transition back into the community as regular and productive citizens.

About the Position

We have a Full-Time opening for a QMHP Therapist to work at our Cedar Bay Facility in North Bend, OR. This position provides clinical services, case coordination with community providers, and supervision for individuals affected by a severe and persistent mental illness in a residential treatment setting, along with the ability to assist with training and clinical oversight of the Residential Associates who provide the 24-hour residential support services to the residents. The QMHP will report to the Facility Administrator for day-to-day supervision and work assignments. Supervision for clinical standards and quality improvement will be by our ColumbiaCare Clinical Director and personnel supervision will be with our On Call Supervisor.

Work Schedule: Days/Hours will vary

In this position, the QMHP provides clinical services and supervision for adults affected by a severe and persistent mental illness in a residential treatment setting. Responsibilities will require the ability to assist with training and clinical oversight of the Residential Associates who provide the 24-hour support services to the clients. Must have the ability to perform a Comprehensive Mental Health Assessment, Assessment Updates and Treatment Plans. The QMHP will also provide clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff and liaison with other community providers. In addition, direct care staff must be willing and able to successfully complete our Verbal and Physical Intervention (VPI) crisis de-escalation training, which requires performing various physical hands-on maneuvers and techniques.

Qualifications

MUST meet State of Oregon QMHP credentials by our following criteria:

-Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field;

OR a Bachelor's degree in Nursing as well as be licensed by the State of Oregon;

-An additional TWO (2) YEARS of supervisory experience is highly preferred

-Must be detail oriented with good record keeping skills

Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver's license, maintain a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Salary & Benefits

$4,000-$5,500 per month/DOE. ColumbiaCare offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, which includes: medical, dental, and vision coverage; substantial sick and vacation accruals (12 days per year each); nine (9) paid holidays, and once eligible, a 403(b) plan with a generous 6% company match immediately vested.
