Big River Construction Inc. has an opening for Project Engineer.
Big River Construction is a site development and utility contractor based in Astoria Oregon with projects in both Washington and Oregon.
Duties/Responsibilities include:
Project administration.
Assist with bidding, estimating and preparation of subcontract documents.
Track and distribute RFI's, Contract Modifications, and Change Orders.
Review, coordinate and track submittals with subcontractors and suppliers.
Tracking Subcontracts, Preliminary Notices, Insurances & Bonds, Submittals
Attend Weekly Meetings (Scheduling, Budgeting, Projections)
Coordinate and prepare close-out documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of Construction Industry Experience Excavation preferred
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a complex operating environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Computer knowledge including MS Office, Adobe
Strong decision-making & problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task and manage critical deadlines
Work well in team environment and be a team player
