PDX MiniMakers is hiring passionate instructors to lead our 3D Printing after school program for students in grades 4th-8th. We're looking for individuals with strong emotional intelligence, genuine care for children, and a commitment to creating an engaging and fun learning environment.
Position Details:
- Lead students in hands-on 3D printing activities at our Portland SW and SE locations (expanding to additional Portland Metro areas soon)
- Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM, with opportunities for additional hours
- Background check required
We're Hiring For:
- Lead Instructors ($25-$35/hour based on experience)
- Experience working with children in grades 4th-8th
- Strong public speaking skills
- Solid understanding of 3D printing technology and processes
- Ability to troubleshoot and guide students independently
Assistant Instructors ($20-$25/hour based on experience)
- Experience working with children in grades 4th-8th
- No 3D printing experience necessary, but must be eager and able to learn
- Supportive team player who assists with program logistics
