Growing Seeds Irvington is interviewing for a full-time Support Teacher to join our team of early childhood professionals for the 2020-2021 school year. We are located at 2808 NE MLK Blvd. (on the corner of Graham and MLK), and we have seven classrooms
We serve children ages 6 weeks old - 5 years old and their families. Support Teachers substitute and cover classroom breaks, lunches, planning, and meeting times. We are guided by a combination of philosophies and practices, including RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers), Reggio Emilia, PBIS, and Constructivism, and we are passionate about connecting children with natural environments, farm to table meals (Growing Seeds has a farm!) social justice, and anti-bias education.
