Deeann's daycare is looking for an energetic, positive, fun assistant for an in home daycare. You must have a good attitude, be reliable and responsible. No past experience is necessary only the desire to give excellent care while keeping a great sense of humor.
Responsibilities:
Supervise children in classroom and while outside and manage safety and behavior.
Assist teacher with learning curriculum, and art projects.
Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Help prepare and serve snacks.
Assist with keeping a good balance of fun and planned activities.
Also:
Within your first 30 days be able to -
Past background check
Get food handlers card
CPR/first aid class
Complete recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect course.
Complete an introduction to childcare and health safety course.
All of these are available either on line or through the early learning division.
This is a part time position.
Monday 9:00-12 2:30-5:30
Tuesday 2:30-5:30
Wednesday 2:30-5:30
Friday 9:00-12 2:30-5:30
There is some flexibility for the right assistant ,but the job is only part time! Please don't inquire if you are really looking for full time! The kiddos get attached and it is hard when a teacher leaves.
