Location Portland, OR - Remote Candidates Considered - Quality Engineer II
Our world class client is searching for an experienced SDET (Quality Engineer II) supporting quality assurance programs and processes in alignment with QA strategy and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environment with minimal guidance. The Quality Engineer II is responsible for providing feedback on artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phase within client projects; authoring test cases/scripts; and performing test execution for both project and support related activities. The Quality Engineer II is expected to leverage technical expertise to develop maintain and execute automation tests. As well, the Quality Engineer II should help identify opportunities to improve application code quality by increasing unit and integration test coverage. Rate Range: 90k-100k - W2 + Health, Dental, Vision, and 401k MatchingQuality Engineer Requirements: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of testing experience. Must have hands on development experience in Java/JavaScript. Must have experience in API testing (REST). Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have strong collaboration and communication skills. Must have strong experience with test development life cycle and open source test frameworks. Experienced in creating test strategy and developing test cases. Experienced with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GIT, and CI/CD.
