Activities Assistant/Driver - Northwest Place

The ideal candidate will possess a tirelessly positive attitude, as well as the desire to grow in a rewarding career (we don’t believe in dead-ends around here). You must have superb communication skills, be REALLY reliable (it disappoints the residents when you are a no-show). Resilience, flexibility and willingness to learn are essential. Core responsibilities: Operate Company's 14-passenger vehicle and SUV to transport residents on outings/personal and doctors' appointments. Help the Director set up, tear down for, and implement creative activities, outings and programs that enrich our resident’s lives.Promote participation in activities and help foster social connectedness between residents. Demonstrate superior customer service while developing rapport with residents, visitors and coworkers.Learn the programs/activities industry and best practices in senior well-being and how the pieces of the puzzle fit together. Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with all support roles at the community.
