Job Title: Senior Technical Product Owner Location: Portland, OR. Position Overview Seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Technical Product Owner (TPO) to join the Order Capture Core Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will be working closely with the engineering, product management teams, and, the System Integrator to define, test and execute the product roadmap for the platform. Responsibilities Work with business and product management to communicate the product roadmap, vision, and strategic value for these initiatives to the development team Test the features build by the team and validate them Assist in the creation of testing automation scripts Clearly document the bugs and work with the team to get them resolved Negotiate priority between consumer-facing features, requests, and technical needs Engage with development team to articulate requirements, project plans, and drive timely execution towards launch Translate technical requirements into useful user stories for the team Clearly articulate acceptable criteria for each user story, own, groom, and prioritize backlog(s) Document and communicate release plan and notes to the stakeholders in a continuous delivery/deployment environment Clearly document, manage, and prioritize defects from multiple sources Pair with software engineers to triage issues and identify the root causes proactively Collaborate with teams in multiple Geographies Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, business, or related field 7+ years of relevant experience in roles such as Product Owner, Quality Analyst or Project Manager for a technical product Ability to state things simply and persuasively for a variety of audiences - internal, external, business and technical Must understand the business value of engineering decisions and how they affect the life cycle of the product Experience with agile software development (particularly SCRUM) Possess strong verbal and written communication skills Possess strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities JIRA expertise required SFDC, SAP ECC, Mulesoft, SAP CPQ, SAP S4/HANA system experience all a plus Flexible, comfortable with change Effectively manages and can thrive with ambiguity Self-motivated/independent/resourceful This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the modernization and simplification of our order capture platform and enable business model flexibility in a lean/agile environment by contributing to an organization committed to continuous improvement.
