job summary:

The client is seeking a creative and talented QA Automation Engineer to develop, execute, and maintain software to test their search platform and related products. The right individual will be skilled in both QA and in developing robust, scalable code.The candidate will work on a small, talented team with state of the art machine learning technology.

Must Haves:

  • Linux and Python Experience
  • QA automation experience
Nice to Haves

  • Familiarity with C or Java
  • Database experience

location: Portland, Oregon

salary: $80,000 - 85,000 per year

work hours: 8am to 5pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

- Diagnosing and reporting bugs, and verifying the implementation of new features

- Participating in all aspects of software testing, including unit, integration, functional, regression, load,

security, destructive, and performance tests

- Creating test plans and test cases for manual and automated tests

- Maintaining and enhancing the existing test tools

- Developing and maintaining automated integration test software, and related tools

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors
