- Creating clear visual hierarchies
- Designing digital experiences and workflows in B2B products with an emphasis for the web
- Communicating regularly and effectively in both written and verbal form as part of the product development process
- Researching and understanding problems well enough to suggest and iterate on viable design solutions that are backed by data, analysis, and well understood UI/X patterns
- Working closely with Product Managers to regularly iterate on UI and UX design solutions
- Establishing a point of view in your work and being prepared to defend your decisions but willing to defer when another approach makes more sense
- Anticipating and addressing various UI states required for a given page or workflow
- Owning large feature projects from start to finish
- Working across multiple projects
- Mentoring and knowledge sharing with teammates
- Being an active voice and presence within the team but also outwardly to other teams
- Defining and contributing to our design system and other team initiatives that improve quality or processes
- Collaborating with engineering teams to get your designs implemented into the product as intended
