Title: Site Reliability Engineer Location: Portland, Oregon (97205) / Remote Employment Type: W2 Contract to Hire (no c2c or sponsorship available) Job Description: EdgeLink is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join an expanding team headquartered in Portland, but open to fully remote candidates. As an SRE you will have the opportunity join a team that tackles the complex problems of scale and availability. From a skills perspective we are targeting most of the following:
- A degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in supporting cloud applications and infrastructure in Azure
- A thorough knowledge of Azure services including VNets, Resource Groups, App Services, Functions, AzureVM, NSGs, and RBAC, etc.
- Experience using Terraform, Packer, Desired State Configuration, and Blueprints
- Experience using PowerShell for scripting and automation
- Maintaining Windows Server environments
- Knowledge and understanding of principles IaC
- Experience with MS SQL Server, Azure databases, SQL, stored procedures, backup and restore, and database design
- Hands on experience with source control systems, preferably Git
- Experience working in continuous integration and continuous deployment environments with tools like TeamCity, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Travis CI, or similar
