Position Summary

The Software Engineer participates in project planning, system design, and development of internal proprietary software that supports our client objectives and client requirements.

Essential Functions
  • Participates in scoping and estimation of software projects and change requests.
  • Designs and develops proprietary software for both internal and external projects.
  • Tests, maintains, and updates existing code using CI/CD for build, test, and deployment.
  • Provides training and guidance in the use of developed applications.
  • Provides back-up and training to data processors as needed.
  • Ensures the integrity and security of company data.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Two to four years' experience in software development in C#/.NET
  • Experience with enterprise software applications, systems networking, relational database management systems, web service management (IIS and Apache), database management, version control, and user support
  • Proficiency with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap
  • Experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, C# (including MVC and Entity Framework), SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects within an information systems environment
