Mandatory skills: MS Office, MS Project, SAP, Ariba,,supplier management,qualifying suppliers, negotiating pricing, administering contracts, managing supplier quality,plant construction, plant operations, plant maintenance,purchasing workflows, SAP systems, ERP systems,power generation, Global Technical Services Description: Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting, relationships, other relationshipsSourcing Managers develop and implement strategies for assigned commodities and suppliers to deliver value to the business by ensuring industry leading operations and maintenance performance for over 50 wind and solar power plants in the US, with a capacity of 5+ GW and growing .This role is needed to deal with workload shifts within the various supply chain organizations to better support FMAT reductionsDescription of Seasonal need or Peak in workload:Work with Global Technical Services to develop and maintain technical specifications to ensure design consistency and long term, reliable performanceLead identification of qualified sources of supplyManage risk and improve leverage by implementing multiple sources of supplyDevelop and implement Sourcing Strategies for strategic commoditiesPrepare scopes of work for bid packagesWorks with stakeholders to refine requirementsCollaborate with Corporate Procurement to publish and evaluate requests for proposals consistent with Company policiesKey participant in negotiations of price, terms, conditions with suppliers and serve as point of contact on contract renewals, amendments, etc.Interpret and evaluate contract provisions, monitor, and keep up to date on market standards, evaluate findings, and make recommendationsJob Description:Work with Global Technical Services to ensure specificationsIdentify qualified sources of supplyPrepare Scopes of WorkPrepare bid packages for tenderingParticipate and/or lead contract negotiationsEvaluate contract provisionsEnsure efficient work processesImplement key performance metricsManage material changesManage framework changes and reduce riskRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or BusinessMaster’s Degree in a relevant field preferred5 years supplier management experience: including qualifying suppliers, negotiating pricing, and administering contracts, managing supplier quality, etc.Experience with wind plant construction, operations, and maintenance preferredFluent in reading and interpreting technical documents, drawings, and specificationsStrong understanding of purchasing workflows and SAP/ERP systemsPrior experience with power generation desirable VIVA USA is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a professional working environment that is free from discrimination and unlawful harassment.
