Senior Data Management Analyst

Location: Wilsonville, Oregon

Ledgent Technology is partnering with a leading food and beverage distribution company to find a Senior Data Management Analyst.

The Senior IT Data Management Analyst provides technical leadership through technical design, code reviews and implementation of best practices, adhering to SDLC and Release Management processes. Designs and develops core services and components with expertise in service-oriented architecture. Creates MuleAPI and WebAPI services by following industry level RAML standards including technical documentation. Involved in database design and creates tables, functions & multiple stored procedures that adhere to Columbia Distributing standards.

The primary focus of this role will be in API and/or Application Interfacing. This includes, but is not limited to designing, building, deploying and maintaining; ETLELT processes, external and internal API/EDI processes, data quality methods, transactional interfaces, data modeling, data quality profiling, application of related governance processes and data toolsystem administration.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for implementation, analysis, design of business requirements to meet the needs of the business and technology to deliver an integration of the various platforms, via MuleSoft and other integration meansPlan, lead and manage requirements definition and solution design working sessions in addition to documenting functional use cases and architectures, business requirements, and high-level business solution approachesHead API strategy / roadmap initiatives while aligning the strategy to the business objectives, including helping establish organization constructs, development methodologies and selection of technology components (e.g, API gateways, devops tools, code repository tools, etc.)Collects or receives data from disparate sources, validates data for completeness and accuracy based on guidelines set by project stakeholders or downstream data management systems.Works with data provides to improve data management workflow.Interfaces with data end users and data storage management architecture.Verify the development artifacts/software are built to specification through various levels of testingAutomate manual tasks in MuleSoft platform to increase accuracy and efficiencyWork with the MuleSoft CoE to implement solution via documented best practicesPerforms peer to peer code reviews and team code reviews and gives demos on latest technologiesCommunicate with and inform upstream source system owners about data quality issues.Own and assist in data flow (lineage and transformation logic) documentation, data dictionary, data flow, data mapping and other MDM and Data Governance documentationDevelop, maintain and/or assist in data management documentation, support Data Governance and MDM.Experience with Relational databases, and good SQL knowledge

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer or business-related field (Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, etc.)3+ years of API development (.NET, MuleSoft, or Java)1 to 3 years of experience in SOA middleware (Oracle or MuleSoft or IBM or Tibco)

Preferred Education and Experience

Associate Mule soft Developer or MuleSoft Developer Certified1 years plus of Azure CI/CD experienceExperience with API access control and security modelsMule soft, SOA/EAI, REST and SOAP webservices, RAML in Mule, Any point Studio, J2EE, XML, XSLT, JMS, JSON, SQLExperienc
