Job Description
We have urgent
Networking Validation Engineer with Python Scripting - Hillsboro, OR Position with our client. This is 6+ Months Contract Position.Skills to be looked: Firmware, BIOS and RTL designRequired skills:Knowledge of PC architecture and Intel chipsets
Knowledge of Networking and Communications protocols, or interconnect fabrics
Software validation experience, preferably in Linux, Fedora or other UNIX
Development process, optimization techniques, and debugging/testing methodologies.
Proficient in coding in C, C, Python or similar languages
Low-level software skills (i.e. kernel debug, device drivers) are a plus!
Strong Problem Solving skills
Passion for debug and the value it brings to hardware and software improvement
Strong communication and influencing skills
Ability to work with diverse communities and geographic locations
Desired skills:Linux and Windows Operating System installation experience, server OSes preferred.
System BIOS and FW update processes
Experience in motherboard and system level debug skills capable of analyzing complex system-level configurations and isolating specific failures
Skills in the Software Engineering development and integration process and project management
Skills and mindset towards scripting such as BASH, EFI (DOS64b), or DOS batch files, python, or other scripting frameworks
Experience with Ethernet, Serial ATA (SATA), Serial Attached SCSI (SAS), Fiber Channel, PCIe specs and Standards, JTAG, I2C, SM Bus, or other IO Buss technologies
Qualification:Master's/Bachelor's in Hardware Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 2-5 years of related work experience, preferred.
