Fat Milo's All Day Cafe in Portland on Fremont St. is looking for experienced servers. We are looking for a reliable, friendly, detail oriented person with open availability to join our close knit team. There will be a mix of morning and evening shifts, but we do like to offer a set schedule. We are open 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm every day except Sunday, when we close at 3. We are a brand new restaurant in this space, but we've been in business for 15 years in Sherwood, and have a lot of amazing regulars. All of our food is cooked from scratch so the ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of food and cooking methods. Benefits include weekly pay, a free meal each shift, sick time and vacation time.
This job requires:
-ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
-ability to bend over and reach into coolers
-ability lift and carry 25 pounds
-working knowledge of POS systems
-excellent written and verbal communication skills
-ability to think on your feet and problem solve while maintaining positive outlook
We are a mom and pop shop. You work directly with the owners. This is not a corporate restaurant. There is no uniform. We are looking for a professional server who wants to work in a place where people care about hospitality and where your work is noticed and appreciated.
