The Salmonberry is seeking a Kitchen Lead to work with and manage our existing team.
The Salmonberry offers scratch made food using local farm fresh produce and proteins, including: Neo Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas, wood-fired vegetables, 'Detroit-Style' pizza, creative salads, local shellfish, and local beer, wine, cocktails, and more.
Have experience and passionate about the following:
Leading a small kitchen team with open, exceptional communication, and sense of humor
Managing and running food prep, evening service, and weekly inventory to ensure smooth operations
Cooperative menu development while managing a kitchen budget with plate costing
Must possess a positive attitude, be a team player, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, while being down with tip pooling. Most importantly, we are looking for the right fit with the team, customers, and the local community.
