We are looking to fill several positions, 1 of which will be a "Lead" position assisting the Administrator with staffing duties for the detox facility. Specific shift schedules are still being determined and will be further clarified during application review and/or interview.

SUMMARY: The CNA, under the direct supervision of the assigned RN, LPN or CNA Lead, will compassionately and professionally, assist detox clients with various healthcare needs and perform clerical duties as needed and appropriate to the position. Essential duties are determined/assigned per location, position and/or department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collect/review client information regarding conditions and treatment plans from RNs, LPNs and/or doctor Room clients Take vitals Answer client calls

Clean/sanitize all client areas Change bedding as needed and restock room supplies as needed Bathe/dress clients as needed

Serve meals and assist with eating as needed Lift clients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc., as needed

Turn or reposition clients who may be bedridden Provide and empty bedpans

Examine patients for changes in behavior and/or physically, such as blood in urine, bruises or other bodily wounds

Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Current OSBN CNA certificate required; current CPR certification required; at least one-year relevant work experience; detox experience highly preferred; Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered. Fluent bilingual Spanish an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required: Demonstrates knowledge of statutes/regulations and functions within the legal boundaries of certified nursing assistance practice; ability to demonstrate on-going competency in performance of technical skills; Ability to understand personal boundaries and how this impacts treatment.

Salary Range is a "step progression" system - Typically, wage for new hires, based on education/skills/experience, is set using the start of the range to mid-range.
