Westside Sleep Center (www.WestsideSleep.com), located in Tigard, OR has an immediate, entry level, full-time or part-time opportunity for a daytime Medical Receptionist/Office Assistant 1.

Job Responsibilities:

Greeting, checking in, and seating patients.

Answering multiline telephone, transferring calls, taking detailed messages.

Keeping an organized office environment.

Maintaining office supply stock.

Laundry and preparing patient exam and testing rooms.

Making appointment reminder calls for physician and medical equipment schedules.

Scheduling patient appointments.

Accepting patient payments.

Updating patient addresses and information as requested.

Shipping and receiving.

Other general office duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will be reliable, possess excellent customer service skills, have strong initiative and follow-up, attention to detail, effective oral and written communication skills and be able to prioritize and manage time efficiently. Must be well organized, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to follow directions, adhere to practice protocols and practice sound judgment at all times. Must be able to work independently and produce timely and accurate work. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, and the ability to continually learn and update existing computer skills is a must. The ability to maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and to work cooperatively with peers is essential, as is maintaining excellent attendance. Must take on additional work as needed and be willing to perform work outside of regular job duties, as assigned.

This is an entry level position and training will be provided. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
