Lumber Yard Laborer – $17/HR – Full-Time
Are you seeking a hands-on, physically engaging role? We’re hiring a Lumber Yard Laborer in North Plains, OR. This position demands HEAVY LIFTING THROUGHOUT THE SHIFT and involves REPETITIVE TASKS in an outdoor environment (under cover).
Job Details:
Pay: $17/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (occasional Saturdays)
Type: Full-time, day shift
Job Duties:
HEAVY LIFTING THROUGHOUT THE SHIFT: Load, unload, and move lumber and other materials continuously throughout the day.
REPETITIVE TASKS: Perform consistent physical tasks as part of the green chain line operations.
Assist customers and drivers with orders.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard.
Utilize basic tools and equipment as needed.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory by sorting and stacking lumber based on size and type.
Order Preparation: Prepare products and materials for shipment or customer pickup.
Requirements:
MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM HEAVY LIFTING REGULARLY.
COMFORTABLE PERFORMING REPETITIVE PHYSICAL TASKS FOR THE ENTIRE SHIFT.
Reliable transportation (location is not bus accessible).
Strong work ethic and attention to safety.
