Pihl Excavating is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Mechanic to join our team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform scheduled, unscheduled and preventive maintenance, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose heavy equipment, tractor trailers, tilt deck trailer, forklifts, shop, and farm equipment
Inspect equipment for indicators of present or potential component failure
Record and update repair records in a timely manner
Small engine repair
Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual capable of delivering high yield results, with at times, limited supervision in a fast-paced work environment
Must have experience with heavy equipment, small equipment, and heavy and light duty trucks
Ability to weld, MIG/TIG, and fabricate
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, employment may be contingent upon MVR approval of company insurance provider
CDL is not required, but is a plus
