Job Description: Production Designer
IGNITE Beverage Branding is a boutique beverage branding agency in SW Portland seeking to hire a freelance production designer to work at an hourly rate up to 20 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate depending on work load. Projects include creating final production files, resizing artwork, making changes on existing art as well as the possibility of logo design, label design, bottle design, box container design, branding guidelines and imagery for websites and social media. Other design items may include brochures, advertisements, in-store displays, apparel and stationery. Candidate must have the ability to work from home and have computer equipment able to handle large files.
Skills required:
Knowledge of the pre-press file preparation standards
Packaging design experience
Expert level experience with MAC based Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign
Detail oriented
Highly organized
Photography & retouching
Creation of photo-realistic graphics on bottles, cans, and other packaging
Photo manipulation
Final file preparation and knowledge of industry standard printing specifications
Communication skills with the ability to work with vendors
Additional skills desired:
Beverage packaging design for wine, spirits or beer
3D Rendering in Blender or other 3D program
Adobe After Effects
Illustration
Social Media content creation
In addition to the experience above, IGNITE is looking for a highly motivated and energetic team player with a can-do attitude toward anything that is thrown their way. The applicant needs to work efficiently on several projects at the same time while always pushing to create the next award-winning design. Candidates for this position must be reliable with the ability to show up on time 5 days a week with a strong work ethic.
