The wage for this position is $12 per hour with a $.60 increase for 2nd shift. (Wage will increase to $12.50 on July 1, 2019.) Duties include performs visual and dimensional inspections of parts, looking for defects, by using microscopes and various gaging instruments, such as gages and calipers. Uses a variety of finger and hand-controlled machines including impact, air, drill, and ream presses, computer numerical control machines (CNC), pad printers, and gage stampers. Places parts into various machines for the machine to perform its function; removes parts from various machines and places them into totes.
Schedule
- Shift start: 5:30AM or 7:00AM or 3:00PM or 5:30PM
- Shift length: 8-10 hours
- Days: 4 days/10 hours or 5 days/8 hours. Always one weekend day
