Experienced Painter
The Opportunity:

We are looking for a dedicated Painter. This is a mobile position where you will spend the majority of your time out in the field. A successful Painter is highly efficient, not afraid to roll up his or her sleeves to get things done and takes pride in getting things right the first time. Structure and protocol are a large piece of this position. Excellent communication skills are essential.
What You'll Do:
Painter: Typical responsibilities include covering surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting; applying primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats; applying paint, stain, varnish, enamel, or other finishes using brushes, spray guns, or rollers; must remove fixtures such as door knobs or electric switch covers prior to painting and wash and treat surfaces with oil, turpentine, mildew remover, or other preparations, and sand rough spots to ensure that finishes will adhere properly. You will read and interpret work orders to perform required duties. You will also be responsible for managing keys, completing paperwork by inputting it digitally into the system accurately and on a timely basis. You will report completed work at daily meetings with supervisor. You will protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies; notify supervisor on any damages, deficits and disturbances; check stock levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate and adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
Ideal Candidate:
You have at least 2+ years of prior painting experience. Property Management experience is a PLUS but not required.
You are able to lift at least 25 pounds. You are able to bend, twist, climb and stand for long periods of time. You are able to work in all weather. You have extensive knowledge of painting.

Candidate MUST live within a 30-minute commute of Portland and MUST have a valid driver's license in good standing and carry insurance.
The Details:
Salary: Hourly rate of $18-21/hr. DOE
Other Benefits: Health/Dental Insurance, Retirement Plan, PTO, Seven Paid Holidays
Hours: Full time, 40+ hrs / week, M-F, some flexibility on nights & weekends required, year around work.
