A property management company is seeking a Full-Time experienced Property Manager at their Portland property. We are committed to hiring and retaining excellent and skilled employees who are self-motivated, reliable, honest, and take great pride in their work and job performance.
The job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manages all aspects of assigned community.
- Responsible for leasing units as soon as they are available.
- Schedules, inspects, and arranges apartment maintenance to meet company standards.
- Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants and address resident concerns or issues.
- Advertises and markets vacancies to attract tenants.
- Collects rents and handles operating expenses.
- Oversee staff of three and assess performance.
- Processes resident re-certifications in a timely manner.
- Schedules and oversees contract vendors.
- Maintains proper payroll for the property.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience and/or Qualifications:
- Must fully understand property management and its financial aspects.
- In depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management.
- Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software.
- Customer focus and bottom line orientation.
- Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Well organized with excellent time management skills.
- Section 42 Tax Credit experience is required.
- Highly organized and ability to pay attention to details and deadlines.
- Must provide excellent customer service and be customer focused.
