In-Store Marketing/Demonstrator Representative

Job Summary
The In-Store Marketing/Demonstrator Representative (IMR) is a highly energetic team member that is responsible for speaking with customers at major retail outlets about their in-home design service needs. The IMR engages customers, demonstrates products and gathers qualified leads for in-home design appointments. In addition, the IMR ensures store signage and displays are in good condition and engages with store associates to build awareness of our program. This can be either a part-time or full-time position with flexible scheduling that includes some weekends.
Essential Job Functions
Generate qualified leads for our in-home design consultants
Build and maintain a positive business relationship with in-store associates to influence and achieve outstanding business results
Train in-store associates on the products and services offered through our in-home service
Attract customer interest, creating a sense of urgency and building confidence in our in-home design program
Provide promotional information and product and/or service related materials to potential customers
Maintain displays, including but not limited to brochure replenishment, promotion placement, removal of dated materials and/or products and cleanliness
Job Skills and/or Abilities
Continuously learn new products and effectively articulate their specific features and benefits
Highly motivated to achieve strong business results
Must have reliable transportation
Outgoing personality with strong presentation skills
Creative, flexible and efficient work habits
Education and/or Experience
Basic computer skills
Entry level merchandising skills
Sales experience preferred
Experience working in a customer focused environment preferred
Job Conditions
Ability to travel up to 35 miles
Work hours may vary depending on store traffic and associate meetings
Work days may vary but may include at least one weekend day per week
Professional dress, appearance, communication and behavior
May require bending, stooping, standing for 2-3 hour periods of time, lifting to 35 pounds
