Our Portland, or client is looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer who will lead cross-functional technical teams. As the Sr. Systems Engineer you are responsible for the design and performance of complex custom automation equipment. Your scope will include concept through release, manufacturing, customer acceptance, installation and customer follow-up. This is a contract to direct hire opportunity, local candidates only (or open to relocation). Skills:

10+ years engineering experience w/ 5+ years' experience as a systems engineer
Machine Design
Automation Industry: design, debug, and production support
Full Project Lifecycle: definition, development, validation, and manufacturing
Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% of time, for durations of 3-4 weeks or as needed. Must possess a valid passport.
